301km cycling event starting from Dunmow, Essex. Controls at Cambridge, Whittlesey, Newport Pagnell, Biggleswade and Dunmow., plus 8 information controls.
A simple event, with a Friday evening start and easy night-time navigation. Two 24 hour garage controls, a motorway services and some long sections need a self-sufficient attitude. Brunch at the finish, included.
Optional pre-ride curry. The route follows the Cam valley to Cambridge, then up into the Fens, crossing the River Ouse several times on a gently undulating route, via some attractive lanes and interesting towns and villages.
