Essex and Suffolk Estuaries 100
This is a 100 km ride from Manningtree. The route is a figure of 8 that visits Harwich, the Stour estuary, Shotley Peninsula, Orwell estuary and Alton Water.
The ride starts from Manningtree train station (easy access from east London, Ipswich, Norwich etc. and plenty of parking), with the first loop around the Essex coastline out to Harwich and back. The second loop goes around the Shotley peninsula, with a control at the Suffolk Food Hall.
The ride will finish back at Manningtree station cafe.
There are two short sections along a concrete bridleway just after 90 km. Both are rideable on 23cc tyres, but can also be avoided by using A roads.
