Taking it steady there’s tea & cake elevenses at Abberton Reservoir Visitor Centre and/or early lunch in Maldon and afternoon cake in Stock.

Faster riders could get to the Stock cafe control for lunch. Maldon would be an ideal lunch stop opportunity if ECE’ing to 200k with 50 already in the bank at Witham.

There will be car parking available at The Labour Hall, Collingwood Road CM8 2EE. A £1 donation to be collected on the day which represents excellent value for money for all day parking in Witham.

Frequent train services from London (check for engineering works) and Norwich/Ipswich/Colchester can also get you to Witham with minimum fuss, directions to the start less than 5 minutes away by bike will be provided in the info sheet.
