200km cycling event starting from The Compasses, Littley Green. Controls at Jordan’s Mill, Broom, Marston Moretaine, Spoke Cafe, Codicote and The Compasses, Littley Green., plus 2 information controls.
The route is based on the ‘Bricks and Moretaine’ permanent, reversed, with two excellent cafe controls at Jordan’s Mill and Spoke cafe and cycle workshop near Codicote. Pub start and finish.
Celebrate your cycling summer with the Hopstock Beer Festival at the ‘Spiritual Home’ of Audax Club Mid-Essex, the lovely Compasses at Littley Green. Free car parking in a nearby field, a simple breakfast available before the start and BBQ plus maybe a beer or two at the finish – not included in the fee!
The very best of the northern Home Counties at harvest-time. The route heads west to Marston in Bedfordshire, via Jordan’s Mill of breakfast cereal fame. Look out for Captain Sir Tom’s blue postbox in Marston. Returning over the Chilterns via Codicote and the excellent Spoke cafe and cycle workshop.
